Job Title: Integrity Management Engineer

Location: Hybrid – Must be local to Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, or Columbus, Ohio

Work Schedule: In-office Tuesdays & Wednesdays (Tues/Wed/Thurs starting September)

Contract Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension)

Pay Rate: $40 - 60/hr

Employment Type: W2 Only

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Integrity Management Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of asset management programs within a gas utility environment. This hybrid position requires in-office collaboration and supports risk-based decision-making, project tracking, and regulatory compliance. Candidates must bring strong technical, analytical, and communication skills with a proven track record in the gas utility sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage multi-year capital and expense-based asset management programs

  • Monitor project performance, scope, and cost, and initiate corrective actions when necessary

  • Analyze mitigation program costs and support cost-reduction efforts

  • Forecast requirements and assess risks and contingencies

  • Track KPIs and drive continual improvement

  • Deliver executive-level presentations to internal stakeholders

  • Interpret data trends and incorporate them into asset planning strategies

  • Occasionally travel to field facilities as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in gas utility project management or engineering

  • Strong understanding of gas utility and field operations

  • Experience with data analysis, risk assessment, and asset performance evaluation

  • Familiarity with project controls, portfolio management, and project design

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Experience with Power BI

  • Knowledge of DIMP/TIMP or integrity programs in the utility or petrochemical industries

  • Advanced technical degree

  • Knowledge of gas system design, flow, emergency response, and relevant safety regulations
