Location: Waukegan, IL (100% Onsite)

Rate: $60 - $65/hr (W2 only)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with a strong background in financial planning systems to lead a high-impact consolidation initiative within a global financial technology environment. This role requires deep expertise with IBM TM1 and Oracle, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, highly regulated setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for financial planning and system consolidation initiatives

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, finance professionals, and technical teams to define project scope and goals

  • Develop detailed project plans including budgets, timelines, risk mitigation, and resource allocation

  • Lead regular stakeholder meetings and status reviews, communicating project updates and escalations

  • Oversee the implementation of IBM TM1 and Oracle tools for financial planning across the enterprise

  • Ensure projects adhere to regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements

  • Promote best practices in project management and support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Mentor junior project managers, ensuring alignment with project delivery standards and methodologies

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field

  • 8–9 years of project management experience, with a focus on financial planning systems

  • Proven experience leading system consolidation projects and financial modeling initiatives

  • Hands-on experience with IBM TM1 and Oracle tools is mandatory

  • Deep understanding of financial planning application ecosystems

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with business and technology stakeholders

  • Experience in regulated industries is preferred
