Location: Remote (Chicago, IL preferred)

Rate: $15/hr - $17/hr + performance-based bonuses + talent referral bonuses

Contract Type: Internship 

Hours Per Week: 25 Hours

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Talent Management Intern to support our consulting operations at Blue Star Partners. In this role, you will manage end-to-end talent coordination and contribute directly to our client engagement success by owning processes related to recruiting, consultant presentation, and business development support. This is a remote internship designed for someone looking to grow their HR, recruiting, and consulting operations skills in a fast-paced, impact-driven firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the full talent management lifecycle from job posting through consultant submission and client coordination.

  • Draft and post role descriptions for a wide range of consulting roles; actively source, screen, and evaluate consultant qualifications.

  • Conduct initial consultant screenings, assist in creating and reviewing consultant biographies for client submissions.

  • Submit and track consultant opportunities, create daily pipeline reports, and maintain active status updates

  • Work closely with Partners to cultivate client relationships and drive new business opportunities.

  • Maintain organized documentation across candidate, partner, and client touchpoints.

  • Support the creation of marketing materials and client deliverables including slide decks and bios.

  • Assist with internal operations, including HR, marketing, and business development projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or working toward one) in Business Administration, Human Resources, Talent Management, or a related field.

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in recruiting, HR, or business administration (internships count).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Proven proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas), SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience working with AI tools, applicant tracking systems, or job boards is a plus.

  • Self-starter who thrives in a remote environment and enjoys working in a collaborative, high-energy team.
