Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager II to join our team and contribute to special projects for a global, large-scale organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assisting with projects related to impact ingredients, packaging, and manufacturing sites. This role requires a strong project management background, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage timelines and deliverables. This role will be 100% On-site in Columbus, OH, and the interview will also be conducted on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct the activities and personnel associated with small to large-scale projects, focusing on non-IT business applications and disciplines.   
  • Assist with special projects related to impact ingredients, packaging, and manufacturing sites.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
  • Ensure timely and accurate project reporting.
  • Facilitate project meetings and manage action items.
  • Collaborate with project sponsors, business units, and users to define project scope and focus.
  • Implement project requirements, plans, processes, and tools.
  • Assign, guide, and monitor project staff.
  • Ensure project success by delivering quality solutions within defined budgets and timelines.
  • Provide expert project guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide tracking, reporting, and presentations to management and users.

Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of project management experience.
  • Strong project planning and scheduling abilities.
  • Proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project scopes and timelines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Packaging background (preferred).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
