Location: Fully Remote
Period: Now – December 2025 (Possibility of extension/direct hire)
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Rate: $60 – $65/hour
Contract Type: 1099 or W-2, U.S. Citizens Only (No visa sponsorship available)
Background and Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate the implementation of critical initiatives, specifically related to the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). The role requires strong project management capabilities to ensure successful execution. The ideal candidate will possess the following background and skills:
• Project Management: Proven success in managing large-scale, multifaceted projects involving various stakeholders.
• IT and Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory programs, especially those related to digital operational resilience, such as DORA.
• Process Improvement: Ability to perform gap analyses and develop actionable plans to address any identified issues.
• Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams and excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with stakeholders.
Role, Responsibilities & Deliverables:
• Develop Program Structure: Design and implement a comprehensive project structure to guide milestones and ensure efficient execution.
• Scope Identification: Define and determine the legal entities and components to be included within the project scope.
• Organize Kick-Offs: Plan and coordinate initial organizational meetings to set expectations and align teams on goals.
• Conduct Gap Analysis: Assess current conditions against certification requirements and identify any gaps that need to be addressed.
• Create Action Plans: Develop clear, actionable plans to address identified gaps and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Budget Allocation: Oversee the project budget and ensure it is effectively allocated across different stages and needs.
• Regular Status Reviews: Establish periodic project reviews and formal sign-offs within the local DORA Steering Committee.
• Resource Allocation: Ensure the right resources are assigned and available to achieve project milestones and objectives.
• Roll-Out Plans: Finalize deployment and delivery plans in coordination with relevant partners to ensure timely execution.
• Training Coordination: Schedule and deliver training sessions on DORA fundamentals to stakeholders as necessary.
• Update Assessments: Maintain up-to-date gap assessments based on the latest technical standards and regulatory updates.
Education & Skills:
• Experience with DORA is essential.
• ISO Certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive projects to successful completion.
• Strong proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
