Scope of Services:
The Client is seeking a highly qualified Project Team Lead with extensive experience in healthcare technology commercialization to support the Advancing Cures and Therapies in Ending Endometriosis Diagnostic Delays (ACT ENDO) Challenge. The Project Team Lead will oversee various projects, driving innovation and managing cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. The number of projects assigned may vary and will be determined on a per-project basis.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Team Lead across multiple endometriosis diagnostic projects, ensuring successful completion of project milestones.
  • Lead Project Teams, providing regular updates to the Client and Program Manager on progress.
  • Review work and approve timesheets of Project Facilitators assigned to the same projects.
  • Assess Project Team status relative to evaluation criteria, including scientific/technological, clinical, commercialization, regulatory, innovation, and team performance.
  • Drive projects towards defined deliverables, tracking their progress and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Prepare and present project status at program update and decision meetings.
  • Identify project needs, request resources, and develop scopes of work to support the project in meeting its deliverables or milestones.
  • Collaborate with the Project Team and Program Centers to make decisions about required resources, such as professional consultants and vendors.
  • Complete timesheets promptly and adhere to the Level of Effort in line with contract requirements.
  • Attend program meetings as needed and provide project updates to program leadership.

 
Requirements:

  • A minimum of 20 years of professional experience, with a strong background in project management and healthcare technology commercialization.
  • A Master's degree or higher-level education.
  • Proven project management and leadership experience.
  • Extensive experience in healthcare technology, especially in areas such as imaging technologies, in-vitro diagnostics (IVDs), clinical laboratory tests, wearables, smartphone-enabled diagnostic tools, integrated sensing technologies, and digital health platforms.
  • Background in women's health technology, including but not limited to reproductive health, pregnancy and nursing care, and pelvic and uterine health.
  • Strongly preferred: Experience in endometriosis diagnostics or treatment.
  • Experience with RADx Tech/ITAP or similar public health programs is an advantage.

Time Commitment:

  • The time commitment will vary depending on the number and needs of assigned projects, with up to 4 projects anticipated.
  • During Phase 2 (Tech Demo and Pitch Presentation Event, Dec 2024 - Feb 2025), the Project Team Lead will work up to 12 hours per project, with additional administrative tasks estimated at 1 hour per week.
  • In Phase 3 (Technology Development Sprint, Mar 2025 - Mar 2026), the commitment includes up to 2 hours per week per project for up to 2 projects, plus 1 additional hour per week for administrative tasks.

 
Compensation:

  • The Project Team Lead role offers a competitive rate of up to $200 per hour.
  • The anticipated Level of Effort (LoE) for Phase 2 is 60 hours, and for Phase 3 is 240 hours.
