Job Title: HRIS Analyst
Location: Northern Chicago, IL – 100% onsite – Local candidates only
Period: 6 month contract – Strong potential for extension and/or direct hire
Hours/Week: 40 hours 
Rate: $50/hour + performance-based bonus
Contract Type: 1099 or W-2, U.S. Citizens Only

 
Scope of Services:

The Workday Data Management Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and management of data within the Workday system. The role involves supporting data entry, business processes, and reporting while working closely with operational teams to ensure seamless execution of tasks. This position requires an individual with prior exposure to Workday, capable of quickly adapting to the organization’s business processes with minimal training. Additionally, the role will require regular audits, data validation, and report generation.

A critical component of the position is cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that data management processes align with both operational and HR needs. Proficiency in German, French, or Italian is highly desirable to support international teams or global clients, aiding in communication and ensuring efficient data management in multilingual environments.

 
Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:

  • Workday Data Entry and Maintenance: Manage and enter large volumes of data into the Workday system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Business Process Management: Support and improve existing Workday business processes, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
  • Data Integrity and Quality Assurance: Conduct routine audits and data validation to ensure integrity and quality within the Workday system.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze reports within Workday, providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, IT, and operations teams to troubleshoot data-related issues and refine processes.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain documentation for business processes and workflows. Provide support to team members to ensure seamless data management practices.
  • Language Support: If applicable, utilize proficiency in German, French, or Italian to support multilingual teams or international clients.

 
Experience:

  • Workday Experience: Candidates should have experience working within the Workday platform, focusing on data management and business processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to use data to drive operational decisions.
  • Operations Background: Prior experience in operations management or related fields is preferred, as it will provide the context for understanding and improving business processes.
  • Languages: Proficiency in German, French, or Italian is a plus, supporting cross-functional or international teams as necessary.

Education and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Workday Certification: Workday certification is not mandatory but will be considered an asset.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in German, French, or Italian is highly desirable but not required.
