Location: Waukegan, IL – Onsite 4 days, Remote 1 day – Local candidates only
Period: 08/01/2024 to 12/30/2024 – possibility of extension
Hours/Week: 40 hours (Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half)
Rate: $60-$70/hour
Contract Type: W-2 only

 
High-level Project Overview: 

This program is actively working to enable Generative AI in the Company enterprise in a responsible and thoughtful way with speed.  Until now Company has focused on governance, user engagement, piloting technologies and enabling Microsoft Copilot Web (aka Bing chat via Edge).  In 2024 we will also conduct a Microsoft M365 Copilot Pilot.  This effort connects with existing and new Artificial Intelligence efforts.

 
Scope: 

Highly complex program with multiple workstream one being Change Management which includes learning and development.  This is a global workstream that will impact all individuals in the company.  Change Management workstream includes executing deliverables to aligned strategic roadmap, workstream execution, providing learning and development recommendations to leadership, working with multiple stakeholders (technology experts, marketing and communications, business, etc.), defining and coordinating training in multiple formats, developing and/or reviewing change management content, working with internal program resources across multiple workstreams to drive this significant change.

 
High-level Project Overview: 

The Medical Devices Labeling program is targeting the replacement of 15 disparate 20+ year old solutions across the division that are currently facing severe business continuity challenges. Business process harmonization and tech debt remediation is required for systems supporting 6 Business Units: 26 manufacturing sites, 8 distribution centers and 3 third party suppliers.  The execution of this project will be accomplished in 3 phases.

Functions Impacted:  All functions across enterprise (e.g. Technology, R&D, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, etc.)

Application or Systems being implemented:  Microsoft Copilot Web (aka Bing chat via Edge browser) and Microsoft M365 Copilot solutions.

 
Required Role-specific experience/background:

  • End-to-end cultural change experience, including sustainability
  • Ability to work/succeed in rapidly changing environment
  • Global Learning and Development implementation experience: 
    • Multiple formats and deliverable types (leadership summaries, events, live training, train-the-trainer and other end user materials/job aids, Webex/Teams training, etc.)
    • Including delivery and facilitation of learning formats
    • Collecting learning feedback, evaluating and presenting to leadership
    • Experience creating learning content, learning toolkits and track learning metrics.
  • Ability to conduct training needs assessment and recommend curriculum based on SME and user input
  • Ability to work on a change management team to execute planned deliverables
  • Experience creating communications, presentations and end user content
  • Coordination of education (change agents, subject matter experts, implementation partners, etc.)
  • Interest in Generative AI topics and workforce impacts

 
Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:

  • Designs and conducts company training programs.
  • Project Management experience may be required for initial plan design and existing plan enhancements
  • Previous project management experience may be required
  • May lead and direct the work of others.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Delivers training at a level which requires facilitation of group process in diverse settings
  • Design learning interventions to meet defined needs
  • Works with management to define organizational objectives and design courses to meet those business needs.

 
Education & Experience:

  • BS (5+ years) in a learning or closely related discipline, or sufficient practical and transferable experience to demonstrate practical equivalence
  • Understands human learning concepts and has experience designing learning interventions to meet specific business needs.
  • Experience leading change, communication, and training efforts for multiple global, complex technology implementations
  • Prior consulting experience delivering projects and navigating client-facing environments
  • LaMarsh, Prosci, CCMP or other Change Management Certification
